E.W.3.A.1	文章能够写出谁在什么地方做了什么事，并符合作文要求。 Narrative contains some details of an event, who is doing what and where, in a way that fulfills the writing prompt.
E.W.3.A.2	文章中出现人物，简单地涉及人物动作，并符合作文要求。 Narrative contains characters and simple description of their actions in a way that fulfills the writing prompt.
E.W.3.A.3	文章中出现事件发生的地方或者时间，并符合作文要求。 Narrative involves place or time in a way that fulfills the writing prompt.
E.W.3.B.2	能够写出事件发生的地方。 Narrative shows a place where the main event occurs.
E.W.3.C.1	能够使用合适的字词连接句子，如：“和”或“也”等，表现出句子之间的关联。 Use appropriate transitional words to manage the sequence of sentences. Transitional words suggested for this level are shown in Chinese.
E.W.3.D.1	能够准确地使用动词，写出人物的行为动作。 Proper use of verbs to describe character's actions.
E.W.3.E.1	能够写出这件事最后发生了什么。 Narrative shows what happened at the end.

E.W.4.3.1	能够根据所记叙的事件写题目。 Provide a title suitable for the events or experience described in the narrative.
E.W.4.3.2	文章中句子简短但完整，能够传达出作者想表达的意思 Sentences are simple and short but complete and can express author's meaning.
E.W.4.3.3	整篇文章至少4个句子。 Narrative made up of at least 4 sentences.
E.W.4.3.6	词语以高频常用词为主，不需要用到书面语 Use mainly high frequency vocabulary familiar to students.
E.W.4.3.10	能够准确使用标点符号（。？）。 Use accurate punctuation. Punctuation marks expected at this level are listed in Chinese.
E.W.4.3.12	整篇文章至少能够使用一半汉字，不会的汉字写拼音。 Must contain at least 50% Chinese characters; pinyin is allowed in place of some Chinese characters.
E.W.4.3.13	拼音可以有拼写错误，但是不影响理解词语和句子的意思。 Mis-use of pinyin tolerated if readability is not affected.

I.W.3.A.2	文章中有简单的人物描写，如：人物外貌、情感等，并符合作文要求。 Narrative contains simple portrayal of characters such as appearance, feelings in a way that fulfills the writing prompt.
I.W.3.A.3	文章能够设定事件发生的背景，如：人物的生活和心理状态等，并符合作文要求。 Narrative consists of a proper setting such as the character's life experience and thoughts which fulfills the writing prompt.
I.W.3.B.1	能够使用简单的叙述技巧表现人物，比如：简单地描写人物或事物的样子等。 Use simple narrative techniques to describe characters such as description of character's appearance.
I.W.3.B.2	能够用叙述的表达方式简单地设定事件发生的背景，比如人物出场时的生活或者心理状态。 Use narrative techniques to simply express the setting of the main event such as the background of the character's life or emotional state.

I.W.4.3.3	能够根据事件的开始、经过和结尾把文章分成至少3段；全文至少10个句子。 Narrative is organized into at least 3 paragraphs in order to present the beginning, middle and end of the story; the whole text contains at least 10 sentences.
I.W.4.3.6	词语以高频常用词为主，包含至少3个书面语（比如：放弃、鼓励等）。 Use mainly high frequency vocabulary familiar to students but also include 3 or more formal vocabulary. Examples shown in Chinese.
